I have spent more than 22 years serving as a Registered Nurse and nurse advocate, and throughout that time I’ve carried not only professional expertise but also a deep well of compassion for every person I support.

 

My journey has taken me through hospital care, emergency departments, hospice, home health, and management. Each of these experiences has shaped the way I gently guide patients, families, and loved ones through the often overwhelming complexities of the healthcare system.

 

For me, nursing has never been just about assessing, consulting, or advocating. It’s about listening with empathy, standing beside families in moments of uncertainty, and making sure every voice is heard and valued.

 

That commitment grew even stronger when I became the primary caregiver for my beloved grandfather. Walking through that role gave me an intimate understanding of the challenges families face and the comfort that true advocacy can bring.
